Day in, day out, no matter what we are after, essentially, in one way or another, aren’t we just longing for Joy, Beauty & Meaning to be present in our life to call it fulfilled? I believe, that when we start paying attention to the natural world, we discover all three of these, in eternal, purest, and most profound forms.
I am Gyaneshwari Dave. The writer/poet/artist of nature – my work explores attention, belonging, and the quiet presence of the natural world.

Nature Writings & Poetry:
Effortless poise of age-old mountain peaks, joyful enthusiasm of butterflies fluttering carefree in a meadow, prayerful peace of trees, a chorus of birds singing every dawn and dusk – doesn’t everything in nature have its own, special, subtle, and discerning message for us?
I express my interpretations of the beauty, joy, and meaning of life I find in the natural world, explore our relationship with it, and, the issues of conservation – in articles & poems.

I am a National Geographic Certified Conservation Enthusiast and Advocate. From time to time, I use this platform to spread awareness about saving our fragile ecosystems as well as wildlife and environmental conservation through my writings and poems specifically dedicated to conservation causes.
I also publish a free, printable, yearly “Conservation Calendar for Nature Lovers” with all wildlife and environmental awareness dates for a year. At my design studio, Pineconedream, where I illustrate and artwork meant for home decor products – I often choose subjects based on conservation issues.

Enlightened minds can express the most profound, life-changing wisdom in the simplest of words. That is why I love discovering and pondering over these witty quotes, especially, quotes about how living mindfully can be related to nature.
I choose the best wisdom and/or nature quotes I come across and combine them with my nature photography to create these thought-provoking picture quotes.

A Nature-inspired Design Studio for Fabric, Wallpapers & Home Decor
In parallel with my writing practice, I am also an illustrator and surface pattern designer, creating original, nature-inspired designs for the home through my design studio, Pineconedream.
My design work draws from the same attentive relationship with landscapes and natural details that informs writings, translating observation into visual rhythm for everyday spaces.
Inspired by the elegant poetry, and a wondrous story that I see in every little sight of the natural world – I illustrate and design original, unique surface patterns that are licensed and sold worldwide on fabric, wallpapers, home decor, office, and lifestyle products – making everyday objects personal, and give a special meaning to someone’s home & life.
